Web Montag Wien 13
Nach langer, langer Zeit hat gestern in Wien wieder einmal ein Web Montag stattgefunden. Die “technischen” Details finden sich im Wiki.
Diesmal gab es keine Präsentationen im klassischen Sinn. Die rund 12 TeilnehmerInnen hatten aber einiges an Themen, Ideen etc. im Gepäck, sodass wir für Stunden genug zum diskutieren hatten.
In größerer Runde stellte Meral (digitalks) die neue wienweb20 Idee vor. Auf einer Videowall in Wien (beim Museumsquartier) sollen Aktivitäten rund um Web 2.0 Veranstaltungsformate visualisiert werden. Videos, Bilder, Tweets, etc. werden automatisiert gesammelt und entsprechend aufbereitet wieder gegeben. Weiters soll es die Möglichkeit geben, dass jedes einzelne Veranstaltungsformat sich in entsprechender Form darstellt.
Die Diskussion drehte sich um Fragen, ob man das ganze auch per Webcam ins Netz stellen könne, ob (Spammer, etc.) das ganze irgendwie vorgefiltert sein muss, was denn alles so zeigbar wäre,…
Weiters kam die Diskussion auf den von mir beim letzten Barcamp Wien als Idee eingebrachten Kalender für webbezogene Veranstaltungen in Österreich. Wenn es sich ausgeht, werden ich ihn bei meinem nächsten Web Montag Bericht nochmals erwähnen, da ich ev. eine Beta dort vorstellen kann.
Apropos: Voraussichtlich ist der nächste Web Montag im Dezember.
Max (Wissen belastet) brachte die Frage ein, ob man die Idee bzw. die Technik hinter “Wahlplakate08” auch für anderes einsetzen kann. Max dokumentierte auf dieser Seite Bilder von Wahlplakaten (Nationalratswahl 2008) um auf die Dichte und Vielzahl hinzuweisen. Mitmachen konnte jedeR, in dem er/sie ein Foto auf Flickr hochlud, mit Geokoordinaten versah oder auf der Flickrmap plazierte und es entsprechend taggte. Solche Bilder wurden dann automatisch in die Wahlplakat08-Landkarte eingelesen.
Ideen kamen einige. Von der Dokumentation von Überwachungskameras, Radarfallen, Barrieren in der Stadt bis hin zu Graffitis und (mein Favorit 
Gartenzwerge (persönlicher Hinweis: man glaubt nicht, wieviele Gartenzwerge man ihn Wien so sehen kann).
Nachdem es einige gibt, die sich gerne ein Netbook zulegen möchten, habe ich meinen eeePC 701 mitgebracht. Luca plazierte in stilgerecht (siehe Foto von Dominik/Just4Ikarus) auf einem großen Laptop. Der eeePC ging die Runde und wir diskutierten Vor- und Nachteile von Netbooks allgemein, Nutzungsmöglichkeiten sowie die Unterschiede der einzelnen Marken und Modelle.
Ansonsten gab es “Kleingruppengespräche”, Gespräche mit Menschen, die man ansonsten nur mit dem Twitternamen kennt,…
Auch ohne große Präsentationen lohnt sich ein Web Montag Wien. Nette Menschen und viele Möglichkeiten Anregungen, Ideen und Hilfestellung zu erhalten. Wie immer kann ich zum Schluss schreiben, dass ich mich schon auf den nächsten freue.

Danke für die Zusammenfassung, freut mich, dass die Idee “wienweb20″ gut aufgenommen wurde. Wir arbeiten auf Hochtouren damit’s Mitte November fertig wird. Einladung zur Eröffnung kommt auch zeitgerecht;-)

Nun ist es fix. Am 15. Dezember 2008, 19.00 Uhr, gibt es den nächsten Web Montag Wien. Ort ist wieder das WerkzeugH (Schönbrunnerstr. 61, 1050 Wien).
